Totally RMB1.5 billion was invested to the project covering an area of 300 mu. First phase will be the capacity forinsulation type test(rated voltage oftestedsamples considered as 1200kV) of AC 1000kV and below grade electrical products (high voltage circuit breaker,isolating switch, current transformer, voltage transformer, lightning arrester and high voltage bushing, insulator, coupling capacitor, etc.); wire and cable type testofAC 500kV and below grade and preliminary identification test; type test of power transformerwithcapacity of 330kV/180MVA and 220kV/240 MVA and belowgrade; insulatorscontamination test of voltage 500kv and below grade; calibration and EMC test detection abilityofvoltage transformer 750kV and below grade.
