Converter Valve Test Room

The target of such project is to compose a test room meeting operation test of complete converter valve components with max. 200kV and max. 8kA. The test valve components are consisted of max. 30 SCRelements, power supply from 12 pulse wave back-to back rectified current with max. 8kA. Such test room can meet operation test ofconverter valve components for DC power transmission ±1100kV. Main test items as below:

1.Max. loading test under continuous running;

2.Max. loading test intransient state operation;

3.Min. AC voltage test;

4.Undervoltage test intransient state；

5.Interrupted current test;

6.Forward voltage test at recovering stage but in transient state;

7.Single wave fault current test of re-applied forward voltage;

8.Single wave fault current test of non-applied forward voltage, etc.
